Call them New Rave, Nü Rave or New Nü Rave, but London trio, Klaxons, are all the rave now. Having been together for less than a year, the electro-rockers have already garnered considerable hype thanks to a flurry of buzzworthy singles and the insta-fame of the World Wide Web. Their debut album, Myths of the Near Future, is slated for a January 2007 release in the U.K. Their sound? Best described as an orgy of wailing sirens, deathly bass lines, and schizzed-out beats topped with falsetto vocals. Think The Rapture on magic mushrooms.
